ask three times and i'll go...

You know those times when your sitting at home, the day is slowly easing into night and you think ahh, i'll just stay in and go to bed early.

Well, my friend Loulou called and asked me to go to an in-store for Snow Patrol. At first I said oh i don't know- i've been out all day think I'll just stay in. She asked again- and I said why don't you call me when you get home and I'll decide then.

She called on her way to the subway and asked again - 3x lucky- i decided to go. I hopped on my bike and went to meet her, but when I got there she had the wrong info. and they weren't playing after all - BUT.... we got free passes to see Athlete (who are opening up for Snow Patrol tonight)

We went in- surprised a friend that was already there and watched a great show! I knew a few songs from when I was in the UK in January- but this was a great introduction to the rest of they're material.

At the end of the night, we were going to leave, but decided to go back inside. We ended up talking to one of the lads from Snow Patrol and NOW! we are going to the show tonight! Yipppee!

So - life has all sorts of great surprises, sometimes you just have to get out of your chair and go find them. :)
