What the World Needs Now...

Although I have known about Feng Shui for many years now - i have just stumbled upon a new-to-me Japanese design philosophy and I must say- that in these times of botox and plastic surgery - we should really look to Wabi-Sabi.

The general philosophy of this ideology is:
" Imperfect is beautiful"
or
" Different is beautiful"

Let's embrace our so-called "imperfections", instead of trying to model ourselves after Barbie, or the air-brushed models we are bombarded with in magazines and the media in general.
A friend and I have decided that when we are complaining about how we look, that we are going to say wabi-sabi to each other.

So Wabi-Sabi everyone!
